COVID-19: Convenient Contactless Solutions

While IRIS products are not specifically targeted at combating the spread of COVID-19, IRIS does offer clients and business partners various options for integrated contactless solutions such as Digital Identity Solution, Digital Immigration Gateway and Secure Document Solution.

These encrypted solutions incorporate facial recognition to facilitate secure and confidential know-your-customer (KYC) applications and contactless multifactor authentication.

Upcoming Contactless Solutions 

IRIS Digital ID Solution provides a complete digital identity platform and gateway that allows citizens and other users to easily and conveniently create a digital identity and prove their identity without showing paper documents; securely connects to e-commerce, electoral participation, educational opportunities, welfare payments, banking and economic development; and grants access to online web services securely without passwords.

This system offers a secure alternative in combating fraud, increasing security and enhancing user experience. With IRIS Digital ID, both Government and users are assured of safe and secure identity authentication both in person and online.

Springboard For More Innovations

IRIS looks forward to the fruition in 2024 of the National Integrated Immigration System (NIISe) project, a collaborative effort with Malaysia’s Immigration Department and Ministry of Home Affairs. NIISe is currently being developed as a new system with cutting-edge security features and will be monitored by a centralised National Immigration Command Centre. 

NIISe will provide the Immigration Department with real-time data, contactless ID capabilities such as performing facial and biometric recognition and conducting advanced passenger screening, among other advancements. The development of new solutions and innovations for immigration services and border control for NIISe will be IRIS’ springboard to offer newer solutions and products to the world.
