World Class Manufacturing Facilities: A Highest Quality Product Line
Design and manufacture activities are carried out at AccoBiotech’s state-of-the-art production plant in Masai, an area in the Pasir Gudang District of Johor Bahru, located about 340 km south of Kuala Lumpur. A 38,000 sq ft laboratory and factory complex, the first and only full-fledged Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) manufacturing site in Malaysia, is located on a one-acre campus and equipped for research and development, product fabrication and packaging. Production capacity is rated at 38,000 kits per day.
AccoBiotech test kits are designed to meet the performance parameters important to practitioners in hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, public health teams or managed care settings. Specificity and sensitivity are rated 95% to 100%, with high validity test results. Stability is also high, with shelf-life of 2 years, and tests are designed for rapid admission (10-20 minutes assay time).
