Founded in 2012, Ideasparq Robotics Sdn Bhd is a specialist in providing solutions for robotics, industrial automation and special purpose machine application. The outfit offers cost reductions and productivity improvement solutions through mobile robots in a variety of industries. Ideasparq’s key products include Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), developed by its homegrown R&D team.
Due to the current pandemic, regular cleaning is necessary to ensure sanitary conditions for the continued safe operation of various industries. However, cleaning hard-to-clean and dirty floors manually requires an extensive workforce and is also time-consuming. Combating the Pandemic
Cleaning and sanitising a large surface area requires a lot of work and attention. Ideasparq’s robots aim to assist people in performing daily tasks efficiently. No doubt, cleanliness is key to combating the highly infectious SARS-CoV-2 virus. Its autonomous robots can work independently, and a person merely needs to initiate the robots’ activities.

Future Plans
In the future, the company is focusing on expanding the export market beyond Malaysia. The products’ exportability is also enhanced due to the design simplicity and easy maintenance.
In research commercialisation, the company is focusing its efforts on bots’ navigational ability by developing technology to rely on only cameras (i.e. 3D cameras).
It is also developing its own cleaning technology to ensure maximum cleanliness on every nook and cranny, besides advancing technology for the robot to navigate itself to the charging port.
